Quick and healthy snacks

Being a mom is hard work and requires a lot of sacrifices.

Between sleepless night, never ending errands and being on call 24/7 it can get really easy to forget to take care of oneself.

Especially when you’re hungry.

Today I’m sharing my 3 favourite healthy snacks for every mom.

They are quick and easy to make and taste delicious.

  • Peanut butter Rice Waffel with banana.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 Teaspoon peanut butter
  • 1 Rice waffle


Spread peanut butter on rice waffle, add some slices of banana, sprinkle some chia seeds on top.


  • Brown bread avocado sandwich

What you’ll need.

  • Brown bread
  • Avocado
  • Paprika hummus.
  • Lettuce leaf


Spread hummus on bread, slice avocado and add on top, sprinkle some salt and pepper (if you wish add olive oil) wash lettuce leaf and put it of top of the avocado. (I like to put another piece of bread on top so my fingers stay clean when eating.)


  • Oatmeal with Joghurt and frozen blackberries

What you’ll need.

  • handful of oatmeal
  • 1/2 handful of frozen blackberries
  • A cup of yoghurt
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Teaspoonful Raisins


Layer them up in a mason jar, cup or in my case a glass.

Let it sit for a while so the oatmeal gets moist from the yogurt and the defreezing frozen blackberries.

Mix them up and enjoy.
